What's the goal?
Hypospadias often requires more than just surgery, yet this is rarely discussed. What many parents don’t realize is that these seemingly simple surgeries are, in fact, highly complex procedures. When performed by doctors who do not specialize in hypospadias, the outcomes can often fall short, leading to unnecessary revisions and additional surgeries.
As parents, we want to minimize the number of surgeries our children must endure. That’s why this community was created—to identify and recommend doctors with proven track records in successfully performing hypospadias surgeries. By making informed decisions, we can ensure our children receive the best care possible.
If this community can prevent even one unnecessary surgery for just one child, we will have already accomplished our mission and fulfilled our purpose. Together, we can make a difference.
